Korea Weekly Holiday Pay Calculator for Part-timers
한국어Enter your hourly wage and this week's hours to see how much weekly holiday pay (juhyu sudang) you get, and whether this is a week you qualify.
No login, and the numbers never leave this screen. Every condition and formula links to the article of the Labor Standards Act it comes from.
4-week average of 15 hours or more per week + no absence this week = one extra day at your hourly rate
Labor Standards Act art. 55(1), art. 18(3), Enforcement Decree art. 30(1)
What this calculator does not do
It does not rule that your employer is wrong. It applies the conditions and the formula the law sets, and the result changes if your workplace differs (leave, substitute holidays, or a workplace whose full-time staff work six days).
It is not labour counselling. For how to claim pay you did not receive, or whether your situation counts as an absence, call the Ministry of Employment and Labor helpline 1350. It is free and has nothing to do with this screen.
It does not calculate overtime, night or holiday premiums. This screen looks at weekly holiday pay only.
